Places To See - National Museum

The National Museum exhibits historical items dating back to the 2nd and 3rd century B.C. it gives an insight into India’s great past. This museum is located on Janpath, and has a huge collection of excavated items from the Indus Valley Civilisation.

The section on jewellery is very interesting, too. The museum has many sections based on different themes as well. There is a film show being screened at the auditorium here. The information centre will give you details about the museum, exhibits and about functions held here. The museum is closed on Mondays.
