Places To See - Nehru Museum and Planetarium

The Teen Murti house was the residence of Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime minister. After he died it was converted into a memorial. The Nehru memorial exhibits a collection of gifts and many other items which he owned. Nehru Planetarium is located within the premises. The planetarium gives an overview of the Indian space program and its achievements. There are daily film shows which are screened in a specially-designed auditorium. These films give us information about the universe and other related topics. The space capsule in which famous astronaut Rakesh Sharma went to space is also displayed here.
